The majority of the talk surrounding the Cincinnati Bengals has been whether or not they are going to select Joe Burrow with the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft or receive a load of picks and players to trade to another team.
Aside from that storyline is the one surrounding A.J. Green.
In an article for ESPN, Jeremy Fowler spoke to an NFC executive that believes Green ‘wants out of Cincinnati’.
“He’ll still do well. I think he wants out of Cincinnati,” an NFC exec said. “And even ‘B’ receivers are getting $14 million to $15 million. I think Baltimore is a good fit for him.”
Green is one of the NFL’s elite receivers, but he missed all of the 2019 season as he dealt with an ankle injury that was supposed to be minor when it first occurred.
Green will be 32-years-old in July, but execs around the league believe he’s still worth it.
“As long as the foot checks out, he’s still elite,” an NFC personnel evaluator said.
