A.J. Brown has been enjoying a historic season in 2023, but it hasn’t been good enough to become his own nephew’s favorite player.
The 26-year-old star Eagles WR took to X and revealed he would not be purchasing a Christmas gift for his nephew after learning that Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson was his favorite player.
“My nephew favorite player Justin Jefferson. lol It be your own family. We going to see if Jet get him something for Christmas because I’m not lol,” wrote Brown on X.
Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown has undeniably become one of the NFL’s biggest stars, with some even tossing his name into the MVP candidate conversation.
In this season alone, he’s hauled in an impressive 67 passes, amassing 1,005 yards and scoring 6 touchdowns in just 9 games.
Unfortunately, Vikings’ Justin Jefferson finds himself sidelined due to an injury and he is currently on the injured reserve list. Before his injury, he had already managed to snag 36 passes for 571 yards and notched 3 touchdowns in just 5 games.

The Vikings have managed to continue their improbable win streak without him.
Philadelphia and Minnesota squared off in Week 2, a game which the Eagles won 34–28.
