The Chicago Bears’ No. 1 overall draft pick for 2024 is thought to be highly coveted around the league, with multiple teams reportedly gearing up for inquiries.
The Bears let the Carolina Panthers have the first-overall pick last year in exchange for a massive haul. There’s little indication as to what they plan to do this time around, however.
According to the NFL Notifications account on X, five teams are harboring an interest in the position, namely: the Washington Commanders, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders.
The account also quotes a source claiming that “the Bears would want a disgusting, disgusting amount” in exchange for what’s likely an opportunity to draft Caleb Williams.
The former USC quarterback is expected to be the first player off the board in this year’s draft and all of the teams noted above are thought to be after a new quarterback.
Chicago may also be just as keen on Williams, though. We’ll just have to wait and see.
