Fred Warner may want to look at the guys on the field and realize that they are on the same team.
It was earlier this week when a major team brawl broke out at 49ers training camp after Fred Warner delivered a vicious hit on a wide receiver. Warner and Brandon Aiyuk then reportedly squared up and it caused a major brawl on the field.
49ers wide receiver Marcus Johnson was on the receiving end of Warner’s initial big tackle and now he finds himself in concussion protocol.
“WR Marcus Johnson is in the concussion protocol, a result of the questionable hit during Tuesday’s practice that spawned a fight between the offense and defense. Kyle Shanahan condemned the fighting, noting that it can create more injuries, broken hands, etc. 49ers,” said Rob Lowder.
Special teams coordinator Brian Schneider shared what Kyle Shanahan’s speech entailed after the brawl on Tuesday.

“A lot of things, number one, he loves the effort, but we have to play smart,” Schneider said. “Some guys were getting in scraps out there, so he loves the intensity and we just have to learn how to play. I think in the final drive there, Kyle was doing more to move the ball and really trying to simulate more of what a game is like. In and out and doing all those things right.”
Warner posted 137 tackles last year and 1 forced fumble.
