Deebo Samuel doesn’t seem too concerned with Jamal Adams entering the division.
On Saturday, the shocking news came down that the New York Jets traded Adams to the Seattle Seahawks, who gave up safety Bradley McDougald, a first-round pick in 2021, another first-rounder in 2022, and a third-round pick in 2021.
Samuel will have to face Adams at least twice a year, but he wanted to make it clear that he isn’t the least bit intimidated by the thought of stepping onto the football field against Adams.
“Yes the Seahawks got Jamal,” Samuel tweeted out on Saturday. “Y’all can stop writing me talking crazy lol. DEEBO ain’t never feared a soul on that gridiron or in real life.”
Samuel is coming off an impressive rookie campaign, during which he caught 57 passes for 802 receiving yards with three receiving touchdowns.
Samuel racked up 13 catches for 214 yards in 2 games against Seattle last season.
