The San Francisco 49ers were hoping to continue their hot run, but their visit to Seattle for today’s week 13 NFC West battle was a disaster from the start. Not only did they go on to lose the game, 30-23, but Trenton Cannon was taken off the field in an ambulance after possibly injuring his head and neck during the opening kickoff.
The San Francisco 49ers running back accidentally got hit by the legs of one of his own teammates, bending his neck at an awkward angle.
Fortunately, the latest update from the 49ers is a positive one, as Cannon is said to be in stable condition at a local hospital and will stay the night for further evaluation.
