Metlife Stadium turn claimed more victims last night during Thursday night’s matchup between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets. It had 49ers running back Raheem Mostert taking to Twitter and sending a strong message for the NFL.
Mostert had sprained his MCL on the field just weeks earlier which caused him to call out the NFL to do something about it.
New York Jets wide receiver Lawrence Cager suffered a hamstring injury when he collapsed on the sideline midway through the first half while running a route.
The 49ers came out of Metlife Stadium with two in 2 weeks, but came away five players going down which included, Mostert, Thomas, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, running back Tevin Coleman, and defensive end Nick Bosa.
