If the Dallas Cowboys had somehow moved on after defeating the San Francisco 49ers, the team would be hurting with the loss of Tony Pollard as they got set to face a division rival.
Tony Pollard suffered a serious leg injury during Sunday’s playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers, hampering the Cowboys’ offense and casting a cloud over his upcoming offseason.
Pollard got his foot caught underneath him while being dragged down by a 49ers defender and had to eventually be carted back to the locker room.
Now, that 49ers player is being called out for a dirty play.

Pollard was fitted for an air cast before he left the field and was ruled out at halftime with an ankle injury. He has since been diagnosed with a broken leg and will need surgery.
The 25-year-old emerged in 2022 as the Cowboys’ most effective running back in his first Pro Bowl season. He led the Cowboys in the regular season with 1,007 rushing yards on 5.2 yards per carry. He added 39 catches for 371 yards while tallying 12 total touchdowns.
He was expected to take over for Ezekiel as all signs point to the team moving past the veteran RB this offseason.
His injury is a difficult blow as he enters the offseason without a contract. He was in line for a big payday at the conclusion of his four-year, $3.2 million rookie deal.
Prayers for a speedy recovery.
