There seems to be some major drama brewing in San Francisco between wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings.
Despite being one of the most consistent teams in the NFL for the better part of a decade, the San Francisco 49ers are in the midst of an offseason from hell. They can’t stay out of the media because Aiyuk is demanding a new contract or alluding to a trade.
The disgruntled wideout has taken every measure possible to voice his displeasure in the negotiations with his current team, which has sparked multiple rumors with multiple teams. Brandon Aiyuk has even gone as far as to openly state he would like to play for either the Washington Commanders or Pittsburgh Steelers if the 49ers were to trade him.
Now, it seems that one of Aiyuk’s teammates, fellow wide receiver Jauan Jennings, has grown sick and tired of his antics. Jennings took to his Instagram on Tuesday hours after reports surfaced that Aiyuk had formally requested a trade.
“You gotta be a different type of person to act like you doing everything by yourself knowing dang well you not,” Jennings posted on his Instagram story.
It should be noted that Jennings never named Aiyuk, but his post’s timing could not be ignored.

Brandon Aiyuk is set to make $14.1 million in the final year of his rookie contract if the team does not trade him. Losing him would be huge, as he has developed an incredible rapport with young 49ers QB Brock Purdy.
Last year, Aiyuk caught 75 passes for a career-high 1,342 yards per ESPN, as he helped San Francisco win its second NFC title in five years.
