San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Jon Feliciano has made claims of receiving death threats from a first-year Philadelphia Eagles player during the season.
The Niners OL was forced to apologize after throwing teammate Spencer Buford under the bus while defending another teammate from criticism over the failed extra point at Sunday’s Super Bowl.
“I know you know all, so u should know that’s not Colton’s guy,” he wrote on X.
“A quick chop is not needed if the guy that was supposed to block him, blocks him,” he added.
Buford was surprised by the post, having replaced Feliciano on the field due to an injury.
He replied: “Sheesh…I open up my app to this…get well soon bro….”
“I’m sorry bro,” Feliciano said in an apology. “I woke up hungover and being a [expletive]. In trying to have ones back I hurt u. It’s [expletive] up and I apologize. You got nothing but greatness ahead of you. I’m sorry bro.”

Eagles rookie Jalen Carter had a response for Feliciano as well after seeing his post.
“Same dude who spoke on my dead teammate and the reason I was emotional during our game,” the former Georgia star wrote on his Instagram Story.
Feliciano responded by claiming Carter threatened to kill him on three occasions during that game, even posting his family and contacting his friends thereafter.
“Dude told me he was gonna murder me and my kids would never see me again 3x because I was laughing at him after getting a flag,” he shared on X. “I said I believe you got a body. Then he continued for weeks posting my fam n reachin out to my friends.
“If you dish it you gotta be able to take it. He talked about my kids, I made that reference. I lost a friend to an accident too so I understand why he was upset. I did feel bad thought about apologizing until he started posting my kids on his IG then I had to get NFL involved.”
Carter would later delete his post.
