I’m not sure if Fred Warner has heard, but it’s probably not a good idea to mock Aaron Rodgers during a game. As many other defenders around the league have learned in the past, it usually doesn’t end very well.
Despite Rodgers’ history for making those who mock him pay, Warner still went ahead and tested his luck during tonight’s Wild Card battle. Following an incomplete pass on a 3rd & 6 play in the first quarter, the 49ers linebacker was spotted doing A-Rod’s patented belt celebration.
It was a pretty bold move from Warner, considering the Packers were leading 7-0 at the time, following an opening drive touchdown for Rodgers and company.
As you very well know, this has not worked out well for many opposing players and teams. We will come back to see if Rodgers lights them up at the conclusion of this game.
