Jimmie Ward wants all the smoke.
With Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner gone, the Seattle Seahawks appear headed for a full rebuild, and there has been a ton of talk surrounding DK Metcalf’s status with the team going forward.
Although his future with the Seahawks looks very much summed up, there is one player who is begging him to stay on Seattle’s roster.
San Francisco 49ers free safety Jimmie Ward took to Instagram live and called out Metcalf. He wants him to remain in town so they can meet twice in the upcoming season.
“DK straight,” he replied. “I hope that Seattle don’t trade him, man, because it’s gonna be oof, they’re gonna be target practicing boy. But we’re gonna line his ass up.”
“Oh, we’re gonna line his ass up,” Ward continued. “Please, please don’t trade him, please let him go through it what the f*ck I’ve been through in my early years. And when they trade a lot of players, and a lot of players retire and this and that. And man I hope they don’t.”

“Please, God just let him stay on Seattle just for one game. So I can line his ass up.”
The 30-year-old safety would love for this to happen since he hasn’t won any of his last five games. Ever since the 2019 season, the year DK Metcalf got drafted by the Seahawks, Ward has held a 1-5 record against Metcalf and the Seahawks. With Wilson gone, the tide can change a bit for the 2022 season.
