The San Francisco 49ers are headed to Miami for Super Bowl LIV, but they didn’t want to leave behind all the people who are just as responsible for them being in this big game as the players are.
Speaking with the media on Friday, 49ers CEO Jed York dropped the news that he is sending every single employee and intern working for the franchise to Miami for Super Bowl LIV so they can, “enjoy the moment and hopefully help us get over the hump.”
The 49ers will enter the Super Bowl as slight underdogs against the Kansas City Chiefs, but that is nothing for a team that has basically been overlooked all year long, even though they had a stellar 2019 campaign. Not only that, bettors are flocking to casinos and dropping an overwhelmingly amount of money on the Chiefs to win compared to the 49ers.
Super Bowl LIV is February 2nd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
