49ers fans are going absolutely nuts this weekend over a viral Deebo Samuel t-shirt making the rounds on Twitter.
On Saturday, shirts reading “Deebo Samuel Is Back” was re-stocked in his official merchandise store. However, it should be noted that these shirts were created last year, but just so happened to be re-stocked.
Coincidence?
As you know, Samuel demanded a trade from the 49ers but the front office has been reluctant to trade one of the team’s top players.
The hybrid WR/RB has been under heavy speculation that he might be traded to the Jets, but nothing has happened during the draft and New York has had a spectacular draft so far.
“The offer was on the table. The 49ers declined,” wrote Max Goodman of Jets Country. “According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jets presented San Francisco with a trade package including the No. 10 overall pick of the 2022 NFL draft for wide receiver Deebo Samuel.”
