The San Francisco 49ers have enjoyed their fair share of thrilling victories in the Kyle Shanahan era, but Sunday’s 35-7 shellacking of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was undoubtedly one of the sweetest yet.
Despite being down to third-stringer Brock Purdy, AKA the 2022 version of “Mr. Irrelevant”, the 49ers made easy work of Tom Brady and the visiting Buccaneers, cruising to a 35-7 victory. San Francisco could have easily won by more if head coach Kyle Shanahan kept his starters in and stayed aggressive on offense.
The folks who attended Levi’s Stadium on a rainy afternoon sure had a fun day, but one specific fan left with a memory that he certainly won’t forget. More specifically, the fan got his hands on the bottle that Brady used during the game, and he even got to drink out of it.
TikTok user @trent..h shared a video of himself taking a drink out of Brady’s bottle. We’re not exactly sure what was inside of the bottle, but Trent sure didn’t seem to like it:
The 45-year-old Brady is known for following a very strict diet and exercise lifestyle that has allowed him to play well into his mid-40s. He claims to have never eaten a strawberry, nor has he tried coffee.
Sunday’s game in San Francisco was certainly one Brady would love to forget, even though it was an emotional road game against the team who grew up cheering for. The seven-time Super Bowl champion completed just 34 of 55 pass attempts for 253 yards, one touchdown (when the game was out of reach) and two interceptions.

The loss dropped Tampa Bay to 6-7 on the season, and yet they’re still leading the sad NFC South division. Brady and the Bucs will try to get back to. 500 (again) when they host Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.
