The San Francisco 49ers acquired defensive lineman Charles Omenihu from the Houston Texans in a midseason trade, and he couldn’t be any happier to be away from that franchise.
“A lot more structure,” he said when asked about the difference between the two organizations. “The leadership between the coach and the GM, it doesn’t seem like its a power struggle. They’re on same page. They have an understanding of what they want. They make it very clear what they want, from GM to head coach, from head coach to position coaches. It’s not a circus show here.”
You won’t find too many Texans fans upset with what Omenihu had to say because they would also agree that it’s a complete circus show as well. The head coach has ben fored after one year, ht estarting QB wants out and is facing allegations of sexual misconduct and assault from 22 women.
Not to mention, Texans chairman and CEO Cal McNair used an anti-Asian remark to describe COVID-19. You can also add deceased owner Bob McNair apologizing and then walking back his apology for comparing NFL players to “inmates running the prison.”
The best player in Texans history, Andre Johnson, was extremely critical of the current front office while advising Deshaun Watson that the Texans are known for “wasting” the careers of players.
The clown circus has been in town for the Texans for quite some time.
