Three NFL teams in need of a new head coach are reportedly “interested in” former Tennessee Titans HC Mike Vrabel.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks all have interest in the 2021 NFL Coach of the Year. Vrabel is meeting with the Bolts today in Los Angeles.
The Falcons may have interest in Vrabel, but signs are pointing towards them hiring ex-New England Patriots head coach to fill their vacancy. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Belichick will have a second interview with the NFC South club this weekend.
To the surprise of many, the Seahawks parted ways with beloved head coach Pete Carroll following a 9-8 finish. Carroll had been the head coach of Seahawks since 2010, leading them to a Super Bowl championship in the 2013 season.
The Chargers fired head coach Brandon Staley after losing nine of their first 14 games, with Giff Smith serving as the interim HC for the final three games. Atlanta relieved Arthur Smith of his head coaching duties following a third straight 7-10 season.
