There’s a lot of moving parts to being a member of a professional football team. Scheme, fit, talent, and personalities all have to line up in perfect harmony for teams to work together as efficiently and effectively as possible. Some personalities clash, leading to conflict in the locker room and sometimes on the field.
While there are certainly many more, here are 10 NFL players whose teammates are sick of them.
10. Chicago Bears – Justin Fields
Fields was supposed to take a leap from year two to year three, but under head coach Matt Eberflus that has yet to happen. In fact, it seems like Fields may have even taken a step in the wrong direction as the Chicago signal caller. After the team traded last year’s #1 overall pick to the Carolina Panthers for two later picks and wide receiver D.J. Moore, it was expected that Fields would utilize his new weapon. Thus far, that hasn’t been the case.
9. Las Vegas Raiders – Chandler Jones
UFC superstar Jon “Bones” Jones’ brother has recently suffered a mental health episode that may or may not be related to CTE. His recent X, formerly known as Twitter, tyrades and Instagram stories have caused concern and led to him being hospitalized against his will. It’s safe to say he’ll never play for the Raiders again, but it begs the question how his teammates feel about this whole ordeal.
8. Baltimore Ravens – J.K. Dobbins

The best ability is availability and the Baltimore running back has been all but completely injured over the course of the past few years. A series of knee injuries have sidelined the running back. Interestingly, this comes from the same locker room that gave their strength and conditioning staff an F when graded anonymously. Despite that, the same staff remains in house which led to another set back for Dobbins.
7. Pittsburgh Steelers – Diontae Johnson
Diontae Johnson and I, since the end of 2021, have caught the same amount of touchdowns for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The difference is that the Steelers have paid Johnson $23,951,203 since then and I haven’t received a dime. Johnson now faces a hamstring injury that sidelines him for an indefinite amount of games. Like him, I am also not playing for the Steelers — my question is where is my $23,951,203? His teammates have to be sick of him.
6. Minnesota Vikings – Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins, aka the noon nightmare, is the best quarterback you don’t want on your team. He’s a regular season monster (except in prime time), but he disappears during the playoffs. Recently, star receiver Justin Jefferson posted a series of rants on social media about his team and their 0-3 start to leave many wondering… is he talking about Kirk?
5. Arizona Cardinals – Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray, aside from a rocky injury history as of late, has been known for his off-field antics and lackluster leadership qualities. Murray’s “no video games, watch game tape” clause in his contract goes to show how immature the signal caller truly is. Despite this, Arizona is sticking with the former Heisman winner as their guy for the foreseeable future much to the dismay of his teammates.
4. New Orleans Saints – Jameis Winston
Jabbo is a clown at best and a terrorist at worst. Off the field, Winston is an enthusiastic teammate who does his best to instill encouragement and confidence in his team. More often than not, however, his antics look silly. If I were his teammate, I’d definitely be sick of it. On the field, Winston has a knack for over throwing piss missiles and hitting receivers harder in the chest than a bullet leaving little chance for creating the catch. On the field antics have led to more than one injury, leading teammates to be sick of his chaos.
3. Cleveland Browns – Deshaun Watson
The Browns gave a debated sexual offender a five year, $230,000,000 contract FULLY guaranteed. While Watson may have some moments on the field, his play has taken a step back since his 2020 season in Houston. The 28 year old now suffers a shoulder injury after putting up only four touchdowns to two picks so far this season. Cleveland’s receiver room has to be looking for brighter days with Watson at the helm.
2. New York Jets – Zach Wilson
Zach Wilson was never supposed to be the starter for New York this season. After all the hype surrounding Aaron Rodgers in New York, from Hard Knocks to the preseason, Wilson was thrust into the brightest spotlight of his career after Rodgers’ achilles snapped during the first drive of the season. Wilson is no Aaron Rodgers, but the media has crucified the BYU product into being a bottom tier quarterback in the league. Teammates might just so happen to agree.
1. Denver Broncos – Russell Wilson
Head coach Sean Payton isn’t the only one put off by Mr. Unlimited’s antics. One of last year’s biggest drama headlines was about how few teammates showed up to Wilson’s birthday party for crying out loud. Defenders hate him, receivers can’t stand to work with him, and the $87,000,000 is nothing short of hard to work with from personal QB coaches to offices inside the training facility. Wilson is the definition of a hard to deal with teammate.
