The son of an all-time wrestling great is taking his football talents to Boulder.
Gage Goldberg, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg, announced via X/Twitter that he has committed to Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes. Gage a standout linebackers who’s about to graduate from Boerne-Samuel V. Champion High School in Boerne, Texas.
Before he began his legendary wrestling career with WCW in the late ’90s, the elder Goldberg was an NFL defensive tackle. The Georgia Tech product played for the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons, but his career ended early when he tore the lower abdomen in his pelvis.
Gage has made a handful of WWE appearances alongside his father, so he’s fairly well-known in the sports entertainment world. Before long, he’ll get to work with a Pro Football Hall of Famer on the gridiron.
