This was not one of them.
West Virginia’s Josh Norwood was ejected from today’s game against NC State after delivering a nasty cheap shot on Wolfpack wideout Thayer Thomas.
Thomas was clearly in a defenseless position after dropping a high pass, but that didn’t stop Norwood from planting his helmet on Thomas’ chin.
These are exactly the type of hit that they’re trying to eliminate from the game of football. Ejecting Norwood was an easy call.
