The blows just keep on coming for the Washington Huskies.
First, they lost in blowout fashion to the Michigan Wolverines in the national championship game on Monday. Then head coach Kalen DeBoer left to take the Alabama Crimson Tide’s opening following Nick Saban’s retirement.
And now? Following DeBoer’s sudden departure, four-star recruit and linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale is de-committing from the Huskies, as he announced on X/Twitter:
Rainey-Sale is among the top 100 ranked prospects for the 2025 by 247 Sports. The standout linebacker is a star out of Bethel High School in Spanaway, Washington. Spanaway is roughly 45 miles from Seattle.
