Fans who showed up to today’s college football game between Vanderbilt and Wake Forest were probably not expecting to see this.
Shortly after the scheduled kickoff at 11am ET, the game was delayed due to weather. At first, it seems as though it was just lightning that was causing the delay, but the rain followed shortly after…
And there was a lot of it!
So much, in fact, that it turned the stairs at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium into a waterfall.
That’s a lot of wet Wake Forest fans. The good news for those who stuck around is that play has resumed between the two teams and the Demon Deacons are currently leading 10-0 early in the second quarter.
