Virginia Tech is sick today.
The team was in a tight game against Liberty as seconds remain for the undefeated team to pull out a huge victory. As Liberty lined up for a game winning field goal, it would be blocked and return for a touchdown to end the game.
However, Virginia Tech called a timeout right before the play to ice the kicker and the play never happened.
Liberty would go on to kick the game winner afterwards.
