The Chicago Bears own the Carolina Panthers’ first round pick in 2024. Carolina (2-13) enters Week 17 with the worst record in football, so the Bears are likely to obtain the first overall pick in April’s Draft.
Williams going first overall isn’t quite a gimme, however. The Bears could end up using that pick on somebody else, especially if they want to build around Justin Fields, who’s shown remarkable improvement in his third season.
Of course, they could also look to trade the first overall pick to a team that desires Williams.
