So, we finally have some answers for you.
To be honest, we probably needed them more than you did. We had so many questions when an Uber Eats delivery guy just walked onto the court during Duquesne’s clash vs. Loyola on Wednesday night.
Well, for one, he wasn’t an Uber Eats guy – he was from DoorDash, or was at least pretending to be.
This was hailed as the most bizarre occurrence in sports history. But, as it turns out, it wasn’t real. It was a prank.
We feel played.
Loyola Assistant Athletic Director Austin Hansen walked through the incident with some new media showing the delivery guy wearing a microphone, which suggests he was recording for some prank.

This explains so much. We wondered how a delivery guy got past event security and into a building where a college game was being played. Even then, how did he even get on the court? It would have been very concerning if folks could get such access to college games. Thankfully, that’s not the case.
Of course, this doesn’t take away from the laughs. It’s still funny. But, yeah, we feel played…
