Texas Tech has a long and odd tradition of fans throwing tortillas on the field, and opposing two-way star Travis Hunter had fun with it when Colorado visited Jones AT&T Stadium.
A tortilla landed just yards ahead while Hunter was lined up as a cornerback during the game.
It’s hard to tell exactly what he was thinking, but he suddenly approached it, picked the tortilla off the ground, and stuffed it into his pants.
The best guess as to why he did it was that he did it for safety and to prevent himself from stepping on it and falling, but social media had all sorts of jokes about it.

Travis Hunter Put Together Another Great Game For Colorado
As this is being written, Colorado is winning 34-20 against Texas Tech with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Hunter, once again, put together a great game, accumulating 95 receiving yards, six receptions, and one touchdown.
He also had a ridiculous interception that was unfortunately called back. Every week, the future top NFL draft pick proves why he deserves to be a favorite for the Heisman.
