Cam Newton had some curious interactions with Colorado stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter before their win over UCF on Saturday.
Both players appeared to snub Cam in separate incidents. It did look that way without clear audio, but a new video posted to YouTube by the former NFL quarterback himself shows exactly what went down.
Newton was at the game to support UCF as he played for the program’s head coach while at Auburn. He had discussed Shedeur before the game, claiming that the Colorado QB doesn’t have a particular performance to hang his hat on.
He also suggested that Shedeur isn’t as likable as Travis.
Shedeur obviously wasn’t happy with the comments but was actually pretty friendly when Cam approached him, though he refused to engage in conversation because there were too many cameras around.
He did tell the former Heisman and NFL MVP he thought he was “on that weird s**t.”

Cam Newton And Shedeur Sanders Have Hashed It Out
Cam Newton and Shedeur Sanders also had conversation behind closed doors. The former spoke about their chinwag but did not reveal too much.
As for the moment with Travis Hunter, it was all love. Hunter pretended to want nothing to do with Newton because the former QB went to Shedeur before checking in with him.
“No, you ain’t come see me first,” Hunter is heard telling Newton at the 5:35-minute mark in the video above.
It appears things are good between Cam and the Colorado boys. Claims of snubs were clearly overblown.
