The Oregon Ducks and Ohio State face off in one of the year’s most anticipated college football matchups. Tension will certainly be high during the divisional matchup, but Oregon wide receiver Traeshon Holden took things just a little too far.
After an Oregon offensive play, Holden and defensive back Davinson Igbinosun were seen jawing at each other, which is completely normal. However, the cameras then caught Holden spitting on Igbinosun, which isn’t only gross but certainly not allowed.
Holden was quickly ejected from the game for his actions, which was likely a good choice by the officials before a more serious offense occurred.
However, it seems as though Holden didn’t take the news very well because cameras then caught him throwing a tantrum as he entered the tunnel to return to the locker room.
He can be seen throwing his helmet onto the ground and kneeling, presumably trying to control his emotions.

Considering Oregon is No. 3 and Ohio State No. 2 in the country going into the game, you have to imagine that many of Holden’s teammates are disappointed in his action.
This game could eventually have major College Football Playoff implications and is a must-win for both teams.
Traeshon Holden Has Been One Of Oregon’s Best Receivers
Holden’s inability to play in the rest of the game will be a huge blow for the Oregon offense.
He has been one of the best receivers this year, hauling 19 receptions, 274 yards, and three touchdowns. All of those stats ranked second on the team.
As of halftime, the Ducks are up 22-21, and you have to imagine Holden praying his team pulls it off so the blame, whether or not warranted, doesn’t fall on him.
