On Saturday, the former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce was a guest on ESPN’s “College GameDay” ahead of Penn State’s huge game against Ohio State.
While walking to the set, Kelce was in a heated exchange with a Penn State fan.
Of course, when someone as recognizable as Kelce just walks through a crowd of people, they will have a lot of people trying to get their attention. However, one fan took that attempt way too far, calling his brother, Travis, a “f*ggot.”
“Kelce how does it feel that your brother is a f*ggot for dating Taylor Swift,” said the original post. Kelce quickly took the fan’s phone and smashed it into the ground.
The video quickly went viral, and multiple new angles were posted showing other parts of the situation.

Most angles don’t add much to the story, but one shows the fan trying to return to Kelce and confront him for breaking his phone.
Kelce was clearly not interested in apologizing and looked to be loudly barking something back at him. Luckily for the fan, others backed Kelce away, who had no problem bullying NFL defensive lim=neman and likely could have done much worse to him.
Considering Kelce is usually such a light-hearted person and rarely shows his temper, you can tell the fan severely crossed the line.
Social Media Is Praising Jason Kelce For What He Did
Even when a fan’s phone was smashed, social media rallied around Kelce, supporting his actions.
Unfortunately, though, because Kelce has become a very popular NFL analyst for ESPN and a public figure, there is a chance he could face some sort of punishment for what happened.
