Malik Nabers just dropped a very interesting hint on which team will draft his LSU teammate and quarterback, Jayden Daniels.
Both Malik Nabers and Jayden Daniels are widely projected to be selected within the top-10 of the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. Daniels is a consensus top-three quarterback, and Nabers is a consensus top-three WR prospect.
During an Instagram live video with Daniels, Nabers strongly indicated that Daniels will be headed to the Las Vegas Raiders. The AFC West club holds the No. 13 selection in the draft, so they’ll most certainly have to trade up for Daniels:
In his latest NFL big board, ESPN’s Mel Kiper listed Jayden Daniels as the No. 2 draft prospect behind USC’s Caleb Williams. The latter is widely expected to be the first overall pick of 2024 by the Chicago Bears, who obtained the selection via the Carolina Panthers.
The Washington Commanders hold the No. 2 selection in the draft. They’re also a virtual lock to take a quarterback, though it’s anybody’s guess if the pick will be Daniels, North Carolina’s Drake Maye or Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy.

The New England Patriots hold the No. 3 selection in the draft. They’re expected to take a signal-caller as well, though de facto GM Eliot Wolf could very well end up trading that pick to another team.
As previously noted, the Raiders would definitely have to move up from No. 13 if they were to land Daniels. The team has also been linked to Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr., a much more realistic option for Vegas than Daniels.
Jayden Daniels Had A Historic 2023 Season
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Jayden Daniels had one of the greatest seasons ever in his final year with the Tigers. He completed 72.2 percent of pass attempts for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns and only four interceptions to go along with 1,134 yards and 10 rushing scores.
