Lynn Camp High School basketball coach Tyler Wagner is unfortunately under tremendous fire for the language he used in the locker room while speaking to his players.
A video has surfaced online of the head coach being secretly recorded by a player on the team, which shows Wagner being irate at his players in the locker room over their play on the court.
The video was posted to Facebook last Friday, titled, “Some coach this is right here @lynn camp needs to do better!!”
The post has been shared over 3,600 times and has been commented on by more than 2,600 people.
On Wednesday, Tyler Wagner released a statement announcing his resignation, effective immediately.
“The language I used in the video is not acceptable in any manner,” Wagner wrote. “My actions were not acceptable, my language was not acceptable, and I need to be a better example if I am going to be a head coach or mentor for my players.”
