The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets wrecked the previously undefeated Miami Hurricanes season.
The Yellow Jackets got a monumental victory over No. 4 Miami.
Fans at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field were rightfully excited about what their team had just accomplished, so like always, they were ready to storm the field.
Unfortunately for them, their celebration would not include the goalposts, as security prioritized protecting them from Yellow Jackets fans storming the field.
One young kid in a baseball cap could be seen arguing with staff over them protecting the goalposts.
Haynes King ran for a game-high 93 yards and a touchdown to help Georgia Tech upset visiting No. 4 Miami, 28-23.

King, who split time at quarterback with Aaron Philo, also threw for a touchdown.
Philo passed for 67 yards and a score.
Miami was denied its first 10-0 start since 2017 with the loss.
The Yellow Jackets have a chance to improve on last year’s 6-6 regular season record if they can beat either NC State or Georgia in their last two games.
They are also bowl-eligible and ended a two-game losing streak.

What a weekend for the Yellow Jackets.
After stunning Miami over the weekend and ending the Hurricanes’ perfect season, Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key was recognized as CBS Sports named him the ACC Coach of the Week.
Following a loss, the Yellow Jackets moved to 12-2 under Key, and Key is now 6-1 against nationally ranked ACC teams.
The victory on Saturday was Georgia Tech’s first win over a top-five team since they defeated Virginia Tech in 2009.
