Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has made a startling admission ahead of the Bulldogs’ title game against Texas this weekend.
Beck and the Bulldogs will have their work cut out for them against the No. 2-ranked Longhorns, but the QB has fueled the notion that he isn’t doing everything he can to prepare for the biggest game of his life.
The UGA star was questioned on the Texas defense and how it kept Texas A&M subdued on Saturday before admitting he doesn’t watch football.
“With the way the schedule worked, you got to sit there and watch Texas-Texas A&M on Saturday night, uh, was there anything that you know, stood out to you maybe that was different that you picked up from watching Texas’ defense?” a reporter asked.
“I don’t watch football, so, uh…I know that sounds kinda crazy,” he replied. “But no, I don’t really enjoy watching football.”
He went on to explain how watching a game would stress him out, though he does watch film.
