‘College Football 25’ is finally here, though not for everyone.
People who paid extra to play the game before the standard edition’s release date got access to it on Monday. And those who have already jumped into the title’s ‘Road to Glory’ mode found a surprise waiting for them.
The game doesn’t fully drop until this Friday. Naturally, some gamers couldn’t wait that long and did what was required to get it on Monday afternoon.
The rollout wasn’t without hiccups, as the server crashed due to the sheer load of gamers hopping online. However, the issue was eventually resolved, allowing players to sort through all of the game’s features while taking a college program out onto the field in a new game for the first time in a long time.
‘College Football 25’ Doesn’t Leave Much To Be Desired When It Comes To Realism
The ‘Road to Glory’ mode allows a user to create a player in the hopes of navigating through college life and carving out a successful career. While it’s primarily focused on what happens on the field, the decisions made off it can impact personal attributes and team chemistry.
One example we’ve come across online shows a player being faced with the option of helping a teammate who just went through a breakup by spending time with him or, instead, asking him for his ex’s number.

Another one shows a user getting blocked by a girl after he gets too excited when she invites him to a party.

Should have known better, right?
EA Sports did not skimp on the realism with this one.
