Nebraska offensive line coach Donovan Raiola got manhandled by police after the Cornhuskers beat Wisconsin this past weekend.
Donovan, the uncle of the program’s starting quarterback, Dylan Raiola, is in his third year as the O-line coach at Lincoln. He was extra pumped to play the Badgers, as he was a three-time All-Big Ten selection with the school in his playing days.
And his emotion spilled over at the end of the game, as he had some words for opposing head coach Luke Fickell afterward.
Dylan threw for 293 yards and a touchdown in the 44-25 win, while the offensive line allowed the offense to gain 180 yards on the ground.

Donovan Raiola Gets Lippy and Then Gets Roughed Up
Donovan must have been hyped, given that the Cornhuskers are bowl-eligible for the first time in eight years – fans certainly were, as they stormed the field after time ran out, though there weren’t that many of them.

The O-line coach had a go at Fickell while he was walking off with his own O-line coach, Casey Rabach.
The video below shows police running toward him before he was grabbed by the arm and given a stern talking to. The situation was brought under control shortly after.

The officer who held Donovan Raiola may have gone over the top as it did not appear that there were any signs of the confrontation getting physical.
Neither school has released a statement, with Raiola and Fickell remaining mum over it as well. It appears that whatever it was is over and done with.
