Deion Sanders issued a message to Travis Hunter as he continues to deal with an onslaught of drama on social media.
Sanders provided some encouraging words for Hunter ahead of Saturday’s Bowl Game versus BYU.
Sometimes, you just need some uplifting words from your coach and the support from your teammates, and that is exactly what he got as he embarks on his final college game.
After two-way star Travis Hunter scrubbed his Instagram in order to shield himself from online criticism involving his fiancée, Leanna Lenee, the Colorado head coach made it a point to call him to stand in the center of his teammates during a recent practice.
“I want you to know this in front of everybody,”
“You know we love you, We got you. We appreciate you. You are him.” Sanders said.

Leanna Lenee Has Become Public Enemy Number One Ever Since Deion Sanders Had To tell Her To Stand For Travis Hunter
Travis Hunter’s fiancée, Leanna Lenee, was there when the Colorado football star capped off an incredible season by winning the Heisman Trophy. Unfortunately, social media trolls immediately started blasting her.
Coach Prime, who has served as a mentor for Hunter since high school, had to touch Lenee on her back to stand after he won the Heisman to get her to stand up.
Social media has made it a point to attack her ever since.
Social media began spreading rumors about Lenee, saying Hunter must drop her before it’s too late.
Hunter responded to the criticism during an appearance on an episode of “The Pivot Podcast.”
“She might look irritated towards me, but at the same time, there’s a lot of stuff she deals with during the game,” Hunter told the podcast hosts. “There’s a lot of stuff people don’t see.”
It wasn’t the first time Hunter had come to Lenee’s defense, nor would it be the last.
It does not appear that Travis Hunter has any plans to part ways with his girl.
