A Kentucky Wildcats player is getting slammed online after getting spotted at a concession stand in the middle of a game.
The UK football program ended a poor season with a loss to rivals Louisville on Saturday, which has left them with a 4-8 record. The defeat certainly wasn’t embellished by starting offensive lineman Gerald Mincey being sighted shopping mid-game.
Mincey, a transfer from Tennessee, hasn’t played since October due to injury. He was caught on camera giving some money back to the school, much to the disgust of social media.

Kentucky Wildcats Fans Did Not Love That At All
Fans on social media were incensed after coming across this.
“Keyboard warrior and a concessions stand warrior apparently,” one wrote.
“The fact that players have the audacity to feel like they can get away with this mid game has everything to do with a lack of discipline and players not fearing a coach,” another vented. “An absolutely garbage culture that needs to be blown up as soon as possible. Wow.”
“”Why is Gerald Mincey at the concession stand during the game? This highlights everything wrong with the Kentucky program under Mark Stoops,” someone suggested.
“It’s almost like we warned you losers what kind of player he would be… Now you’re stuck with him,” said a Tennessee fan.
“We tried to tell yall but yall were so excited about getting a Tennessee transfer lmao,” another Vols fan added.
“In his defense I was told that he was getting some snacks for Coach Stoops,” someone joked.
While Kentucky Wildcats football hasn’t been as good as UK basketball over the years, it’s clear that fans abhor such behavior, even from someone who isn’t playing.
