Cameras caught Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter losing his patience on the sideline during the team’s awful first-half performance against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Things quickly got ugly for Travis Hunter and the Buffaloes early in their visit to Memorial Stadium. The Cornhuskers scored on their opening drive, then doubled the lead when Shedeur Sanders threw a pick-six at his own goal line into the waiting arms of Tommi Hill.
Colorado went into the locker room trailing 28-0 at halftime, all but assuring that they’ll fall to 1-1 on the season.
The Bussin’ With The Boys X/Twitter account shared a video of Hunter displaying his frustration as the struggling offense jogged to the sidelines. After a brief conversation with head coach Deion Sanders, Hunter showed even more anger:
Though the Cornhuskers were favored by 6.5 points, the Buffaloes certainly did not expect an effort like this. Absolutely nothing went right for Hunter and company in the first 30 minutes of their visit to Memorial Stadium

Colorado soundly defeated the Cornhuskers 36-14 in their home opener last year, the first game in Boulder under Prime Time. In that game, Hunter caught three passes for 73 yards.
Hunter was one of the few bright spots in the first half, hauling in seven receptions for 72 yards. The game isn’t over just yet, but it looks like the Buffaloes are about to enter an identity crisis after a humiliating effort against their archrivals.
Travis Hunter & Shedeur Sanders Can’t Do It Alone
It was a full team effort a year ago when the Colorado Buffaloes cruised to an easy home win over Nebraska a year ago. Unfortunately for Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, there was little support from the rest of their teammates in the first half.
Sanders was sacked four times in the first half. The defense allowed 213 yards. The Buffs committed seven penalties for 80 yards in just 30 minutes.
There’s just no way Colorado will take a step forward this season if Hunter and Sanders have to do the bulk of the carrying on their own, as they did last year.
