Allie LaForce is one of the best when it comes to picking out her outfits for game day.
The NBA on TNT reporter was covering the NCAA Tournament over the weekend when the broadcast brought attention to her outfit.
The longtime Turner Sports sideline reporter was covering an Elite Eight game between No. 4 Alabama and No. 6 Clemson when the network had a genius idea to promote The Masters while using Allie LaForce’s outfit.
The reporter, who is in her 12th year working the NCAA Tournament, could be seen sporting a green jacket while sitting at the media table.
Announcer Brian Anderson began reading the ad during a stoppage in the game as the camera panned to LaForce.
“I know what Jim Cornell, our director, is doing here,” Anderson said.

Allie LaForce went along with it as she stood up and posed while pretending to do give her best impression of a golf swing.
This was actually a hilarious moment on the broadcast that produced a job well done from all sides involved.

Joe Smith and Allie LaForce reportedly met in 2011 while he was still playing for the then-Cleveland Indians and she was working with FOX 8 in Cleveland. Smith and LaForce got engaged in 2013 and then got married in 2015.
In 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Jacob, via the Akron Beacon Journal.
Smith did not play in the league during the 2023 season and officially announced his retirement from the league in January 2024. Smith finished his career in the Majors with 762.1 innings pitched at a 3.14 ERA, notching a 55-34 record with 30 saves.
