Vanderbilt started the 2023 season with a home win over Hawai’i in the first SEC game of the season.
The Commodores won the game 35-28 to open up their season, but most people wanted to know something about the locker room situation.
Plenty has been made of the Vanderbilt stadium construction that will be ongoing throughout the season, leaving the north and south end zones vacant of stands.
Apparently, the visiting locker room at FirstBank Stadium is just a huge outdoor tent. It looks like a tent that a family would put up for a gathering of loved ones.
It does at least appear the tent is set up on a platform instead of grass and dirt.

Hawaii gave Vanderbilt football a scare on Saturday night, keeping the game close throughout and cutting a 21-point deficit down to single digits before ultimately losing.
The Commodores failed to stop repeated downfield passes from the Rainbow Warriors and needed two interceptions, a kickoff return touchdown, and an overturned illegal forward pass call to win. It wasn’t the ideal victory, but a win is a win.
The defense gave up 351 passing yards and the offense rushed for only 65 yards and gave up nine tackles for loss.
Next for Vanderbilt is another home game against Alabama A&M (0-0) on Sept. 2nd.
