All Utah Utes scholarship football players are insanely happy this week.
On Wednesday, within Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium, several brand-new Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn trucks rolled onto the field.
In one of the most unique arrangements of the name, image, and likeness era, the Crimson Collective, the NIL group supporting Utah athletics, presented a truck to each one of the 85 scholarship members of the football team.
The Utes players couldn’t believe their own eyes as they all went insane.
To qualify for the NIL deal, players only need to have a good driving record and be willing to promote awareness of the Utah Crimson Collective to help other student-athletes benefit from their own name, image, and likeness and will be encouraged to give back to their communities.

The deal is worth some six million dollars. The retail price of each truck is $61,000.
The only issue going forward is how players are going to be able to find their trucks among 85 identical ones.
Utah next takes on Cal on October 14 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Utah is currently 4-1 on the year with a 1-1 record in conference play. They are in sixth place in the Pac-12.
