USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams “liked” a tweet on X/Twitter suggesting that he has no desire to be drafted by the Chicago Bears.
The Bears own the Carolina Panthers’ 2024 first-round pick thanks to the Bryce Young trade. The Panthers currently hold football’s worst record at 2-13, so the Bears are likely to win the first overall pick. Last year’s Heisman Trophy winner is the consensus favorite to go first overall.
As you can see in the screenshot below, Williams “liked” a tweet about how the Bears should draft Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. instead of the USC QB.
The Bears will have a tough decision to make, because third-year quarterback Justin Fields is putting together his best season yet. Fields has done wonders with star wideout D.J. Moore as his go-to playmaker, so adding another star like Harrison Jr. might help the 2021 first-round pick take his game to another level.
