Omarion Hampton didn’t play for UNC in the Fenway Bowl but traveled to Boston to support his teammates.
North Carolina and interim head coach Freddie Kitchens looked shell-shocked as the UConn Huskies built a 24-7 lead at halftime.
The game would end 27-14 to end a disappointing showing from North Carolina.
The only notable part of the game happened off the field, and it involved someone close to Omarion Hampton.
One short video showed an unidentified woman on the sidelines near the star running back as ESPN cut to him watching the game.
The woman could be seen in a trance as she licked her lips.
On the other hand, Omarion Hampton was seen giving out a huge yawn.

Hampton saw the hoopla about the woman online and quickly took to X and revealed that the woman was not random, she was actually his girlfriend.
“that’s my girl chill😂,” he said in response.

Omarion Hampton Declared For The 2025 NFL Draft
The Bill Belichick era begins in 2025, but UNC football will be without a top player.
UNC running back Omarion Hampton, who finished second in the country in rushing behind Ashton Jeanty, declared for the NFL draft.
In a statement posted on X, Hampton said, “It has been my dream for as long as I can remember to play in the NFL, and I am grateful for the opportunities that led me here.”
He finished the season with 1,660 yards in 12 games, with 15 touchdown runs. In doing so, he set a new school single-season record with his 2,033 all-purpose yards, which surpassed the previous mark from 1970.
He will end his career with 3,565 career yards, ranking fourth all-time in school history.
Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN has Hampton ranked as the No. 2 running back in the 2025 NFL draft.
