The UCLA Bruins opened up their 2022 season with a victory, but not many of their fans cared to see them in action.
According to the LA Times’ Ben Bolch, UCLA’s Week 1 game vs. Bowling Green drew a record-low crowd at the Rose Bowl; with just 27,143 in attendance.
And this is a UCLA team that appears to be turning things around under Chip Kelly. UCLA posted an 8-4 record last season, which is a vast improvement considering they won 11 games total in the three previous seasons.
