Back in November 2018, the UCF Knights entered a rivalry game with a 23-game winning streak, but ended up losing the biggest part of the team when quarterback McKenzie Milton went down with a gruesome leg injury that effectively ended his season.
Milton dislocated his right knee, suffered two torn ligaments and nerve damage.
Fast forward to late April and Milton had made incredible strides to return to the field by taking his biggest steps just a few days ago.
Five months after that injury and surgery, Milton walked for the first time. McKenzie’s mother, Teresa posted video of Milton walking on his own for the first time since the injury outside the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota where he has been rehabbing.
