The college football world is going crazy over reports that two women at the University of Utah football game were topless in the stands on Saturday, wearing little if anything above the waist but body paint.
The school said in a statement that the two women, who were students, complied when asked by a female police officer to put on shirts.
University spokesman Christopher Nelson said he spoke with the U’s Chief Safety Officer Keith Squires, and that detectives will “follow up this week to screen for any possible criminal charges.”
University police said there is an active investigation.
The students could also face school punishment including “losing the privilege and access to future university events.”
