In the age of being in quarantine with nothing else to do but to wait this coronavirus out in hopes of stopping the spread, many people have way too much time on their hands to get into other shenanigans.
EA Sports hasn’t released a college football video game since “NCAA Football ’14” which came out in 2013, but it remains as popular today as it did before it stopped being produced.
One fan on Twitter decided to have some real fun with it when he created a quarterback named Patrick Flowers and stated that the fictional high school dual threat quarterback was in the ESPNU top 150 and is a four-star recruit on 24/7, according to Flowers’ Twitter bio.
It all started with the profile picture:
The guy then followed that up by stating he recevied offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Northern Illinois.

That grabbed the attention of NIU’s coach, Thomas Hammock, who took to Flowers’ DM and stated he received no offers from the school, not realizing he was being trolled.
Hammock soon blocked the account.
He eventually realized he got trolled and laughed at himself.
