Devon Starling found himself in a real-life fatal attraction.
The TSU running back was forced to call police after his former fling, 22-year-old Ariel Escobar, the Director of Football Operations & On-Campus Recruiting, was potted sitting in her car while waiting for him to arrive at his apartment complex around 2:30 am.
Starling showed up with his current girlfriend, Mia Kanu. Both of them informed Escobar to leave and that’s when things got crazy.
“The couple attempted to drive around Escobar’s vehicle to leave the situation, but Escobar followed them as they pulled into a nearby parking lot. Escobar then blocked their vehicle from leaving and then drove into their vehicle with them still inside.
Unhappy with the initial damage, she backed up and rammed the vehicle a second time, still only causing minor damage. She then fled before police arrived but soon returned to the victim’s apartment – where she threw ketchup on the front door and vandalized it officers took her into custody. She stated she returned to force Mr. Starling to confess to his new girlfriend that he had been with Escobar sexually just the day before.”
Ariel Escobar was then booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on December 3rd, charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
