UAB head coach Trent Dilfer completely went off on his coaches following a careless penalty in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against Tulane.
Dilfer was heated when UAB committed a five-yard illegal substitution penalty that gave Tulane a first down. It was especially a horrible time for a penalty, with the visitors trailing by just one score in the fourth quarter.
The former Super Bowl-winning QB couldn’t contain himself as he absolutely lit into his coaches on the sidelines:
The Blazers wound up falling 35-23 to the Green Wave, dropping them to 1-4 on the season. UAB will try to snap their four-game losing skid when they host South Florida next week.
