In the third quarter of Saturday’s game between the Colorado Buffaloes and TCU Horned Frogs, Travis Hunter came up with a game-changing interception near the goal line. That proved to be a massive difference-maker, as it took a minimum of three points off the board for TCU, not to mention the visitors went on to win by a final score of 45-42.
A new viral video shows TCU fans taunting Hunter by telling TCU quarterback Chandler Morris to throw the ball in his direction. After making the highlight reel play, Hunter made sure to let TCU fans know that he heard them:
The 20-year-old Hunter was a beast for the Buffaloes yesterday, making big plays on defense while also putting up with 11 receptions for 119 yards. He was one of four Colorado players to put up over 100 yards receiving, along with Dylan Edwards, Xavier Weaver and Jimmy Horn.
Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes were a three-touchdown underdog against last year’s national championship runner-ups. But Colorado’s offense was too much for TCU to overcome, and the defense did just enough to close out the game.
